At the centre of the estate sits The Woodhouse, a purpose-built reception space designed for beautiful celebrations in a setting that feels both refined and welcoming.
Framed by landscaped gardens and open countryside, The Woodhouse blends contemporary architecture with subtle European influence, creating a unique space that feels timeless.
Large doors open to connect diverse outdoor spaces and surrounding grounds, allowing the celebration to move effortlessly between indoors and outdoors.
It’s a space designed not only for dining and dancing, but for gathering.
THE DETAILS
The Woodhouse is an elegant timber building with a rustic but refined European elegance to it. Every detail has been well thought out. Think soaring 7m ceilings, 4m windows, freestanding fireplace, inside/outside bar, huge outdoor undercover dancefloor/lounge area covered in fairy lights, outdoor firepit with integrated lounge seating, and entertaining courtyard. This is all complemented by a commercial sound and PA system.
CAPACITY
The Woodhouse itself is approved for up to 150 people for either sit-down or canape-style weddings or events. For small events under 50 guests we also have our recently opened outdoor pergola area overlooking the lawns and lake which is perfect for a long lunch or summer evening celebration with family and friends.
CATERING & BEVERAGES
Wedding guests will enjoy the delicious food flavors created by our exclusive caterers Fennel & Co with service that is second to none.
There are a variety of beverage packages and options to suit all tastes with by consumption and beverage packages starting from $10.50 pp/ph. Our wine list specialises in Hunter Valley wines (naturally) and with a few out-of-towners. The Woodhouse has a DA-imposed closing time of 11.30 pm when all music must be turned off.

One of the defining features of The Woodhouse is the connection between the interior reception space and the outdoor courtyards, dancefloor and firepit.
Just before and after dinner, guests can gather outside with drinks in hand, a place for conversation, fresh air and for many to enjoy the dance floor.

The Outdoor Terrace & Bar
A Relaxed Space Beneath the Stars.
Situated in an elevated position overlooking the expansive lake sits the outdoor vine covered terrace and bar area.
Under festoon lighting, the terrace offers a beautiful setting for post ceremony drinks, cocktails or even late-night conversations.
It provides a relaxed space where guests can step outside while still remaining part of the celebration.

Frequently asked questions.
Yes, absolutely. We love our furry friends and actually have one ourselves. We just ask that you let us know beforehand. We also expect that your dog is well-behaved. If your dog is staying the night, please be aware that animals are strictly prohibited from The Suite.
Yes, absolutely. At the Woodhouse, we have a large undercover dancefloor that doubles as a wet weather option for our couples.
Unfortunately not at Redwood Park. However, Green Wattle Farm is just down the road, and they do.
No, we have an exclusive arrangement with Fennel & Co for The Woodhouse.
No, we are not BYO. We do have a range of packages to suit all budgets, ranging from $10.50 per person per hour to $14 per person per hour. We also have an on-consumption option where you can specify a spending limit. Guests are also able to purchase spirits and cocktails at the reception venue if you wish.
Yes, there will always be a team member who will supervise the event on the day. They will be there to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Yes, this is possible depending on the date. Please talk to us if this is something you would like.
The team at The Woodhouse will set up all of our furniture for your wedding, including making sure that the tables are in the right configuration and the right number of chairs. We are also happy to place place cards and simple items. We will also make sure that the ceremony spot is looking lovely and has all of our benches, arbor, signing table, and chairs properly placed. If you are hiring any additional furniture or have a stylist, they will typically set them up for you.
At The Woodhouse, unfortunately, we do not receive garbage collection from the Council. Instead, we have to pay a private company for all of our rubbish to be removed. As such, we charge all our couples $500 to cover the removal of all rubbish associated with the wedding.
Yes, there is a dedicated disabled car space located right outside our building, and there is a dedicated accessible toilet as well. As Redwood Park is quite large, we are also able to provide transport for less mobile guests between the ceremony and the post-ceremony and reception if required. Please just ask one of our team members if this will be necessary.
